Imphal West district administration on Friday said that it is providing hassle-free COVID-19 vaccination service at the comfort of one’s doorsteps.
The facility can be availed by anyone who requires 1st or 2nd dose with a minimum of 10 persons to be vaccinated per site and there is no upper limit, stated a notice issued by Imphal West DC Th Kirankumar.

It stated that the facility can be availed by contacting the District Control Centre via the contact number 7005923373 and 9362662670 on all day from 9 am till 3 pm or via email dc.imphalw@gmail.com. The District Administration Team shall provide the schedule date and time for the vaccination, it stated.
A valid ID (any identifying documents like Aadhar, Voter ID, Pan Card, Driving Licence, and Passport etc.) and mobile number of the beneficiaries must be made available at the time of vaccination, it added.

Meanwhile, the deputy commissioner also notified to all the eligible and interested public that the district administration, Imphal West will be organising a mega vaccination cum bumper draw programme under the theme ‘Get a shot, Win a prize’.
In a notification issued by the DC, it stated that the schedule of the programme is from 10 am till 4 pm on October 24, October 31 and November 7. It will be conducted at GM hall, Polo Ground and Dharamshala Thangal bazaar. Any person above 18 years of age who are due for the first and second dose of COVID-19 vaccination can participate in the programme.
It further stated that mobile number, valid ID (any of the identifying documents like Aadhaar, Voter ID, PAN card, driving licence, passport, etc) will be required for participating in the programme.
A big screen TV will be given to the first prize winner, a mobile phone to the second prize winner and blankets to the third prize winner. There will also be 10 consolation prizes. The lucky draw winners will be decided amongst all the persons participating in the mega vaccination drive from all the three venues of the day, it added.
