The government has failed to present any leads even though the students had been missing for more than two months, NSUI unit president Ningthoujam Mahanta said.
“The Centre’s attitude would have been different if Manipur had over 40 seats in the Lok Sabha but since it is only two the central authorities are sleeping on the issue."
NSUI said violence in Manipur largely affecting the student community in the entire state and urged the government to restore peace at the earliest.
