The Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) on Thursday extended condolences on the demise of former president Zeliangrong Baudi (AMN) Athuan Abonmai on Wednesday.
Athuan was allegedly killed by some unidentified miscreants, ZUF stated in a release signed by information and publicity secretary KD Gangmei.
ZUF demanded that the reason behind the act (murder) may be established and justice delivered to the bereaved family and relatives. The loss is deeply felt and lamented by Zeliangrong and its kindred people, ZUF stated.

The release further stated that ZUF shared the moments of sorrow and loss with the bereaved family at the untimely demise. “We pray that our heavenly father may comfort the bereaved family and relatives with power of consolation, forbearance and forgiveness in such a dark and gloomy hour of early and painful separation,” it added.
