A six-day Imphal Auto Expo 2022 will be held at HVS, Patsoi from November 25 to 30.
The second edition of the auto expo, organised by the Business Excellence Group (BEG) and MMSC Adventures, aims to provide members of the automobile industry a platform to showcase existing models, new launches as well as upcoming models, BEG president WangkheiMayum Vikram said.
He said following other automobile expos held in Delhi and other metros, BEG and MMSC Adventure, an Imphal-based adventure club, is organising the six-day expo in collaboration with Tata Motors.
Around 15 vehicle and motorcycle brands viz. Suzuki, Renault, Mahindra, Mahindra Tractors, MG, Mercedes Benz, Tata Motors, JCB, Royal Enfield and Jawa Yezdi, are taking part in the expo.
Firms dealing in spare parts, accessories, sealants, and other motor vehicle components like Car Renovation, Formula X, will also join the six-day event, he said.
On the electric mobility front, Okaya, Okinawa, Piaggio Electric and Electric One will exhibit a wide array of electric-powered two and three wheelers.
Keithel, a private environment pollution prevention body, will provide vehicle pollution tests at the expo through its mobile pollution testing unit.
Throughout the six-day event, the state Transport department will disseminate information on road safety including traffic rules and illegal modifications to vehicles and motorcycles which will put pedestrians at risk.
