How do bats carry many deadly viruses without falling sick?

Though the precise origin of SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus that causes this deadly pandemic called COVID-19 is not yet established, the virus spilled over into humans, from a wild animal, most likely from a bat, through an intermediate host, most probably a pangolin or another animal.
