The landslide occured around 2.50 pm Monday, at about 8 km towards Thingou, 15 km north from Nungba police station, police said.
The incident happened near the new traffic point, under the Porompat Police Station in Imphal East.
Both the bodies of the deceased were handed over to their family members after post-mortem examinations at RIMS on Thursday.
The mishap occurred when the couple riding their Activa which was coming from the traffic point at Sagolband road, attempted to cross the road when a tipper truck (Tata tipper) (AS11BC-6752) coming from Keishampat was also approaching on the other side of the median.
