Assam, Mizoram and Meghalaya continued to report the highest number of COVID1-19 cases in Northeast India.
According to the latest update by the state health department, Manipur reported zero death cases and the death toll remained 2,120, while six new COVID-19 positive cases pushed the number of active cases to 22.
While Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland has been reporting zero COVID-19 active cases for the last few days, Manipur reported no new positive cases for the third straight day on Sunday.
Manipur on Wednesday reported 358 more COVID-19 positive cases, with Imphal West and Imphal East continuing to report the highest tally.

Manipur's COVID-19 caseload rose to 29,282, while the number of recovered cases rose to 28,876 on Tuesday.
The state on Wednesday reported two COVID-19 deaths, pushing the death toll in the state to 62.
People of the state are facing hardships as the government has failed to properly implement policy on COVID-19, K Meghachandra said.
