The president, his colleagues of the Zeliangrong Football Association (ZFA) and the Organizing Committee of the “Jadonang Memorial Football Tournament” have condoled and conveyed heartfelt sympathy to the family members and relatives of Thaingamlung Gangmei of Namthanlong, Imphal who expired on September 2, 2023 after a prolonged illness.
“We have learnt with shock, horror and disbelief the passing on of our active member and also the Secretary Information & Publicity of the ZFA. This is a sad loss, not only for their immediate family, but for the entire Zeliangrong Football fraternity,” Romeo Palmei, general secretary, ZFA stated in a release.
"The ZFA shall always remember his tireless contribution and dedication rendered towards the association during his lifetime. The Association prayed for peace and comfort for the departed family members and hoped the departed soul would rest in peace," the ZFA said.
