YWC Langthabal emerge winner of 12th AMFA Senior Women's Football League

The winning goal for YWC Langthabal was scored by M Nandeshowri in 21 minute and Hoineihat came up with the second goal in 44 minute for the victory.

Youth Welfare Club, Langthabal beat Eastern Sporting Union, Wangkhei by 2-0 goals to emerge winner of the 12th AMFA Senior Women's Football League 2021-22(Pre-Qualifying Round for Indian Women League) played at Artificial Turf, Lamlong Thongkhong Imphal East.

The winning goal for YWC Langthabal was scored by M Nandeshowri in 21 minute and Hoineihat came up with the second goal in 44 minute for the victory.

With the win, Youth Welfare Club, Langthabal have been qualified to represent Manipur in the Indian Women League.

YWC Langthabal finished the league on top with 25 points from 8 wins, 1 draw and 1 lost game while KRYPSA Naoremthong took the second spot with 22 points from 7 wins, 1 draw and 2 lost game and ESU Wangkhei settle for third spot with 17 points from 5 wins, 2 draw and 3 lost game.

MPSC Police HQ came fourth with 15 points from 4 wins, 3 draw and 3 lost while ICSA Irengbam took the fifth place with 7 points from 2 wins, 1 draw and 7 lost game and WFA Kakching occupied the bottom slot without a point, losing all 10 matches.

In the other league matches of the day, ICSA Irengbam blanked WFA Kakching by 2-0 goals with L Bijena Chanu scoring in 27 minute and Th Sanjita Chanu connecting one in 75 minute for the win.

On the other hand, KRYPSA Naoremthong and MPSC Police HQ match ended in a goalless draw to share a point each.
