Junior boxer Uningba Khuman boxed his way to the final of the State Level Boxing Championship 2024 organised by MABA at Boxing Ring Khuman Lampak.
Powering his way, L Uningba Khuman of Imphal West spared no punches towards N Chingkheinganba of Imphal East to book his final berth in the 46kg bout of the Junior Boys.
In the 48kg semi-final bout, L Ambekar Meetei of Imphal East beat Chingrihor Shatshang of Ukhrul to proceed into the final.
As for the School Age 40kg bout, P Joyhenba of Imphal East will face Thangmeishang Awungshi of Ukhrul in the final match. Joyhenba beat Kishan of Imphal West, while T Awungshi beat Bicky of SPL(B) in the semi-final bout.
Other boxers who reached the final of the School Age category are, L Bikash of Thoubal in 43kg, Kh Rudraksh of Kakching in 43kg, Y Srinivash of Thoubal in 46kg, Rinngasung Vashi of Ukhrul in 46kg, M Lanchenba of Kakching in 49kg, G Jekshon of Imphal West in 49kg, Gershom Awungshi of Ukhrul in 49kg, Kh Leishemba of Imphal East in 52kg, S Robertson of Kakching in 58kg and Y Abinash of Kakching in 61kg.
