The Huyel Langlon Thang-Ta Association, Manipur will be organising National Thang-Ta Coaches Training and Time Scoring Result (TSR) under the aegis of Thang-Ta Federation of India at Thang-Ta Maheikol, Yumnam Huidrom from Tuesday at 1 pm.

In a statement, Huyel Langlon Thang-Ta Association said that continuous efforts of Thang-Ta Federation of India and other Institutions have resulted in granting recognition by the Government of India to promote the indigenous game of Thang-Ta. As a result, the competition of this indigenous game has been included in the Khelo India Youth Games.

On the other hand, efforts are being made to include the game of Thang-Ta in Khelo India, University Games and National Games as well.  

The statement further said that this particular training will prove to be a crucial event in the history and development of Thang-Ta Sports as the trainees will undergo training of Time Scoring Result for better and efficient output of digital scoring system and other unique art forms of Thang-Ta Martial Art including Thanglon, Khonglon-khutlon and Thang Haibi etc.
