Judoka Likmabam Shushila Devi has been selected in the Indian Judo squad for the Tokyo Olympic Games 2020-21.

L Shushila Devi will compete in the under 48 kilogram category. Her selection has been confirmed by International Judo Federation general secretary Jean Luc Rouge and IJF head sports director Vladimir Barta in a communique to the National Olympic Committee of India.

It can be mentioned that five native sportspersons from Manipur have made it to the Tokyo Olympic Games 2020-21. They are Sh Nilakanta Sharma, Sushila Devi Pukhrambam in hockey, MC Mary Kom in boxing, S Mirabai Chanu in weightlifting and Shushila Devi in judo.
