Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Saturday congratulated Manish Narwal and Singhraj Adhana for their gold and silver win respectively in Para Shooting at Tokyo Paralympics.
“Such a heartwarming start to the day for India. Congratulations to Manish Narwal on winning the Gold & Singhraj Adhana on winning Silver Medal in Mixed 50m Pistol SH1 event at Tokyo #Paralympics. We are so proud of our Paralympians,” CM Biren said in a Twitter post.
In a series of tweets, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also congratulated Manish Narwal and Singhraj Adhana for winning Gold and Silver respectively at the Paralympics Games in Tokyo.
"Glory from the Tokyo #Paralympics continues. Great accomplishment by the young and stupendously talented Manish Narwal. His winning the Gold Medal is a special moment for Indian sports. Congratulations to him. Best wishes for the coming times. #Praise4Para," Modi tweeted.
In another Twitter post, he wrote:
"The outstanding Singhraj Adhana does it again! He wins yet another medal, this time in the Mixed 50m Pistol SH1 event. India rejoices due to his feat. Congrats to him. Wishing him the very best for the future endeavours. #Paralympics #Praise4Para".
India has added 15 medals at the Tokyo paralympics on day 11, including three gold, seven silver and five bronze.
