AG Memorial Academy, Thoubal Haokha will face Heirok Higher Secondary School in the final of the U-17 Boys District Level Inter School Subroto Mukherjee Football Tournament 2022 organised by DYASO, Thoubal at Kodompokpi Sports Complex, Thoubal.

In the semi final matches, AG Memorial Academy, Thoubal Haokha thrashed Khongjom Standard English School by 9-0 goals. K Premananda, Kh Sagar scored three goals each while N Bipin struck two goals and Ch Zetli fetched one goal for AG team, enroute to the final.

The other semi final saw Heirok Higher Secondary School beat Yairipok Higher Secondary School by 5-0 goals. Marjit scored three goals while Naoba and Obhedia chipped in with a goal each for Heirok School.

Only four teams participated in the U-17 Boys category and the first match served as semi final matches. Deputy director YAS, Y Bony Singh inaugurated the meet along with S Ranbir Singh, DYASO Chandel on Thursday. The U-14 Boys football matches will start on Friday at the same venue.
