State Open Tennis Championship 2022: Bicky Singh claims Champion title of Men's Single

In the final match, Bicky faced a befitting opponent in Ribhasker and broke his rival serve to capture the final match with 6-0 and 6-0 sets for the well deserved win.

Bicky Singh displayed his grit and determination to claim the Champion title of Men's Single of the 41st State Open Tennis Championship 2022 played at Officers' Club, Lamphelpat.

In the final match, Bicky faced a befitting opponent in Ribhasker but the former came prepared for the face off and displayed his agility and to give hard time to the latter. Bicky served well and broke his rival serve to capture the final match with 6-0 and 6-0 sets for the well deserved win.

As for the U-16 Boys final match, Joshua found the going to his liking against Lanchenba and took the first game by 6-0 sets and went on to push his opponent to the backfoot with 6-1 sets win for the Champion title.

The above 45 Double pair of Th Tuleshwor Singh and NK Meitei had to sweat out playing against Jayanta and Manikanta Singh, but ultimately prevailed in the end with 6-2 and 6-4 sets victory to lay their hand on the Champion title.

Sohan Keisham also claimed the U-12 Boys Champion title beating Yohenba Singh by 4-0 and 4-0 games.

Manipur Tennis Association president T Pamei attended the final match and distributed the prizes.
