The Manipur Cricket Association celebrated its 48th Foundation Day by unfurling the MCA flag and floral tributes to its members at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium, Luwangsangbam.
Led by MCA vice-president Laithangbam Binoy Singh and general secretary Peter Kshetrimayum, the foundation day commemorates the contribution made by its founder members and paying floral tributes to its members which marks the main component of the day.
Men's Cricket Committee chairman Wahengbam Bhaktaraj Singh also spoke on the struggles, drawbacks and success story of the MCA till the present day.
Royal FC, Bolero FC register wins
Royal FC got the better of SYSC by a solitary goal in the 1st Maipakpi Memorial Trophy 2022 Nine a Side State Level Men's Open Football Tournament played at City Club Playground, Heirok.
Y Biramani Singh scored the winning goal in the second half for the victory.
In the other match, Bolero FC beat DM FC by 2-1 goals to garner full points. Naresh Singh and Malem Singh fetched a goal each for Bolero FC team while the lone goal for DM FC was scored by Thomas.

LYLL Leimaram blanked KYSLC and L Kha Jiri by 2-0 goals in the 1st L Itomcha Singh Memorial First Division Football League 2022-23 at Mini Stadium, Bishnupur. L Michael scored both the goals for the LYLL team for the win.
