Sikkim batsman excelled with the bats putting up 337 runs for 9 wickets against Manipur in day one of the Senior Men's Ranji Trophy 2021-22 played at JU 2nd Campus, Salt Lake, Kolkata.
Manipur won the toss and opted to field first, where Sikkim plundered the moment with opener Liyan Khan hammering an unbeaten 156 runs along with Ankur who too remained unbeaten with 63 runs as the day's innings came to a close for 337/7 from 90 overs.
Sikkim batsmen who contributed earlier in the day are Palzor who made 43 runs, Ashish Thapa got 21 runs and Nilesh Lamichaney who batted 18 runs. Among Manipur bowlers, Priyojit K, Rex and Bishowjit claimed 2 wickets each while Kishan got 1 wicket.
