A release issued by Manipur Cycling Association stated that an open trial selection of the Manipur State Mountain Bike Cycling Team for participation in the 19th Senior, Junior and Sub-Junior National Mountain Bike Cycling Championship will be held at Mountain Bike Cycle and Training venue at Awa Ching, Imphal East at 6.30 am on Sunday.

The 19th Senior, Junior and Sub-Junior National Mountain Bike Cycling Championship will be held at Wayanad District, Kerala from February 16 to 18, it said. It informed the interested individuals for the trial selection to attend the selection test at the venue at Awa Ching on time along with their rider’s kits.

It informed the interested individuals to submit their entries with two photocopies of their Aadhar card and age proof certificate, a copy of their birth certificate or high school leaving certificate and three copies of passport size colour photograph along with an entry fee of Rs 50. It maintained that the required documents are to be submitted to the convenor of the Technical Committee Manipur Cycling Association (MCA) Henam Lenindro Singh on or before January 14. Original copies of the submitted documents will be checked by the Selection Committee at the trial venue before the trial commenced, it mentioned. Those cyclists who are found submitting false and incomplete documents will not be allowed to take part in the selection, it added.
