SASA produced a comfortable 3-1 goals win over Japhou YC to enjoy the top spot with 10 points in the DC Chandel Trophy First Division Tournament 2023-24 played at Sports Complex, Chandel.
SASA dominated the game right from the start with Milan fetching the opening goal in the 14th minute, with Anthony getting the second goal in the 34th minute to tighten their grip.
Having won three games and a drawn match, SASA tempo is in the upswing and continues to perform with Milan once again, picking up his second goal of the match in the 58th minute.
However, a last-ditch effort from Japhou team saw Ningtungdam getting his team's lone goal in the 59th minute but failed to cater to the needs. Japhou YC are with 4 points in Pool B.
In the other match, Liwa Khullen and Anal Khunou YC shared a point each after getting 1-1 goals. PS Ingson found the opening goal for Anal Khunou in the 16th minute while Angphanging drew parity for Liwa Khullen in the 54th minute.
Liwa Khullen players Hringshavan, Th John and Anal Khunou YC player ST Mochangam got yellow cards in the match.
Both teams have four points each a win, one lost and one drawn match in Pool A.
