RCA, CDCC, Force, SU and AKSDO script wins in Luwangpokpa T-20 Trophy 2023-24

RCA Lilong crushed KCDO Kongpal by 10 wickets to bring up their fifth win in the 4th MNCA Luwangpokpa T-20 Trophy 2023-24 played at Luwangpokpa Cricket Ground, Luwangsangbam.

In the Group A league standing, the stage is quite open for quarter final berth between WYC, YUCC and RCA as they are currently having 10 points each. However, the former two have played five matches each and won them them all while RCA have played six matches, winning five.

Batting first, KCDO managed just 76 runs for 10 wickets from 15.1 overs while in reply, RCA reached the target in 7 overs for no loss of wickets. Medium pacer Md Danish Khan claimed 4 wickets and made 25 runs for the Man of the Match.

CDCC Sagolband Salam Leikai pulled off a 4-wicket win over NCA Ningthoukhong played at Moijing Public Ground, Thoubal. NCA got 283 runs for 9 wickets while in reply, CDCC made it in 18 overs for the loss of 6 wickets. CDCC batsman Ksh. Robert took the Man of the Match for his 56 runs knock.

The match at Lairenjam Public Ground saw Force Kshetrigao beat YPHUC Lalambung by 9 wickets. YPHUC put up 94 runs for 10 wickets while Force reached it in 6 overs for 1 wicket. Force batsman Saddam Ahmed Shah claimed the Man of the Match for his 62 runs.

Sagolband United registered a 9-wicket win against MPA Thounaojam at Public Ground, Khangabok Part III, Cherapur. MPA batted to 93 runs for 9 wickets from 20 overs while Sagolband United took 11.1 overs to reached the target, losing 2 wickets. CDCC batsman Kendegy Salam the Man of the Match for his 52 runs.

AKSDO Khangabok also posted 8 wickets win over KIYC Kshetrigao played at Model & Oriental Ground. KIYC made 79 runs for 9 wickets from 20 overs. Chasing the target, AKSDO reached it in 9.1 overs for 2 wickets.
