Neroca FC heaved a sigh of relief as they beat Regular Football Coaching Center, Keinou by 7-3 goals to bring up their first win in Col Ksh Arunkumar Memorial 3rd Inter Club Futsal Tournament 2023-24 played at Artificial Turf, Lamlong Thongkhong.
Playing their third match, Neroca FC's much needed breakthrough was provided by Md Isra Khan to deliver the opening goal in the 6th minute and N Langjonlung fetched the second goal in the 8th minute.
Regular Football CC fought back and it was Haridas Yumnam who came up with a goal in the 9th minute. However, they committed a blunder when L Rohit conceded an own goal in the 10th minute but the next moment, they found a goal from A Samson in the 11th minute to trail by 2-3 goals.
As Neroca FC made more intense moves, they quickly added on four more goals from Md. Isra in the 26th, N. Langonlung in 27th, Priyoranjan in 31st and H Leishemba in 36th to dictate terms in the match. The third goal for the Regular Football team was made by L Rohit in the 40th minute.
In the other matches, Sang-Gai Football School beat Kangchup Road Young Physical & Sports Association by 5-1 goals to register their third victory while Classic Football Academy beat Manipur Sports House by 11-2 goals to bring up their third win as well in the tournament.
