Napsa Kha Imphal conquered LCCC Chajing by 4 wickets to claim the champion title of the 5th T Subol Memorial T-20 Veteran Cricket Tournament 2021 played at Oriental College & Model Higher Secondary School, Imphal West.
The final moment witnessed the LCCC team, winning the toss and deciding to bat first the openers giving a good start with Rakesh hitting 33 runs while Shrinivashan made 20 runs, to put 128 runs for 8 wickets from 20 overs. Tarun contributed 22 runs.
Napsa bowler Doren picked up 3 wickets while Premananda took 2 wickets and Keshorjit, Simon fetched 1 wicket each.
Napsa Kha Imphal in their reply rode on Premananda who got 33 runs and Bhogen who struck 36 runs to reach the target in 131 runs for 6 wickets from 19.3 overs. Somendro made 18 runs. LCCC bowler Jeeten, Ashok and Jillangamba claimed 1 wicket each. Napsa batsman Premananda bagged the Man of the Match for his 33 runs and 2 wickets haul.
Former additional director of Horticulture and Soil Conservation, Ch Chaoba Singh and donor, T (O) Romola Devi distributed the trophy to the team.
