MNCA T-20 Trophy 2023-24: WYC, KSDO, TCMDC and AKSDO put up wins

WYC Thoubal Wangkhem recorded their third win in the 4th MNCA Luwangpokpa T-20 Trophy 2023-24 beating Napsa Kha Imphal by 41 runs at Luwangpokpa Cricket Ground, Luwangsangbam.

Enjoying the top spot in Group A with all win records in the league, WYC started off on a slow and cautious note, losing their first wicket after 5 runs but Mangi Singh Gotimayum with 24 runs and Ruhit with 17 runs posted 97 runs for 10 wickets from 16.5 overs.

Napsa bowler L Kipajan proved most destructive, bagging 3 wickets for 10 runs from 2.5 overs while H Bony and N Richer got 2 wickets each.

In reply, Napsa Kha Imphal batsmen were in more deplorable condition as none of them could tick to double digit mark except for H. Bony who made 18 runs, to castled out for 56 runs for 10 wickets from 18.3 overs. WYC bowler H. Biteshwor picked up 4 wickets for 11 runs from 4 overs and later claimed Man of the Match while Borish and Roshankumar claimed 2 wickets each.  

KSDO Kiyamgei also came up with their third win beating NCA Ningthoukhong by 4 wickets played at Model & Oriental Ground.

NCA put up an impressive show, putting up 129 runs for 6 wickets with Boby making 60 runs while A. Robinhood got 48 runs. In reply, KSDO reached the target in 14.3 overs for 6 wickets and KSDO bowler Shahjahan was adjudged Man of the Match for his 4 wickets haul.

In the match played at Moijing Public Ground Thoubal, TCMDC Thongju pulled off a 10-wicket win over YWC Langthabal. Batting first, YWC made a meagre 56 runs for 10 wickets from 16.1 overs. In reply, TCMDC reached the target in 10.2 overs without any loss for the big win. Thongju bowler K Kalyan Sharma picked up 6 wickets and took the Man of the Match.

AKSDO Khangabok beat YAC Yaiskul by 5 wickets at Lairenjam Public Ground, Imphal. YAC made 85 runs for 10 wickets in 19.5 overs while AKSDO surpassed the required rate in 15. 5 overs for 5 wickets. AKSDO bowler Prameshwor fetched the Man of the Match for his 3 wickets
