MNCA Superplate: YWC Langthabal, RULE Malom garner full points

YWC Langthabal have made it to the semi final knockout qualifier stages of the tournament.

YWC Langthabal pick up their fourth win beating PTCC Patsoi Part III by 6 wickets in the 1st MNCA Superplate Tournament 2021-22 played at Model Higher Secondary School & Oriental College Ground.  

Making an impressive performance with all win games, the YWC Langthabal have made it to the semi final knockout qualifier stages of the tournament.

PTCC Patsoi collected their wits to build up 107 runs for 10 wickets from 33.1 over after winning the toss. Hijam Hemachandra top scored with 33 runs. YWC bolwers Ng. Bishwash and L. Dinachandra were the chief wicket takers claiming 2 wickets each.Chas

ing the target, opener S. Robinson took charge to make an unbeaten 42 runs off 76 balls along with Ng. Bingson who got 7 runs, to overhaul the total in 28.3 overs for the loss of 4 wickets. Ng. Bikramjit contributed 20 runs. PTCC bowler Deepak bagged 3 wickets. YWC batsman S. Robinson was adjudged the Man of the Match for his unbeaten 42 runs and 1 wicket.

In the other match played at Langthabal Public Ground, RULE Malom pulled off 3 wickets win over MPSC Manipur Central Jail.

MPSC batsman put up 103 runs for the loss of 10 wickets from 34.5 overs with S. Sunil cracking 37 runs while L. Kipanjan got 19 runs. RULE bowlers Th. Kishan claimed 3 wickets while S. Ananda bagged 2 wickets, Denin and Sarojkumar fetched 1 wickets each.

Jay Singh Haorakcham spearheaded the inning hitting 46 runs and later was adjudged the Man of the Match while Rk. Herachandra got 24 runs to reach the target in 35.2 overs for the loss of 7 wickets. MPSC bowlers K. Kenedy and Indraban S Koijam claimed 3 wickets each.
