PCC Mayaikoibi bowler L Ronald scripted his team's fourth win bagging 5 wickets to deliver an 8-wicket victory over KASC Khomidok in the 3rd MNCA Superplate Tournament 2023-24 played at Model Hr Secondary School & Oriental College Ground.

Choosing to bat first, KASC batsmen struggled but WM Rajak got 27 runs while Md. Irfan top scored with 36 runs to put up 136 runs for 10 wickets in 29.4 overs.

The chief wrecker in KASC innings was L. Ronald who delivered with lethal precision, claiming 5 wickets from 8 overs for 28 runs while Pravinkumar took 2 wickets.

Chasing the target, PCC lost opener Dhanashyam for a duck but L. Gibson came to the rescue hitting an unbeaten 66 runs off 83 balls while Th. Anand also remained not out with 41 runs for the victory in 28.2 overs for loss of 2 wickets. KASC bowler Md. Khurshid took 2 wickets.

AKSDO Khangabok also recorded their fourth win from six matches, beating WYC Wangkhem by 1 wicket at Public Ground Khangabok, Cherapur.

The WYC batsmen, taking the crease first, were able to make 140 runs for 9 wickets from 30 overs with opener Herokumar making 44 runs off 50 balls. Skipper Biteshwor got 32 runs.

AKSDO bowlers Akash bagged 3 wickets while Roshan, Nungshiba took 2 wickets each.

In reply, AKSDO reached the target in 29.2 overs for the loss of 9 wickets. Although the top order batsmen failed to clicked, tailender Prameshwor stood tall, making an unbeaten 49 runs from 21 balls for the victory. WYC bowler Biteshwor got 4 wickets but failed to save his team. Batsman Prameshwor was adjudged the Man of the Match.

In the other match played at Luwangpokpa Cricket Ground, Blue Hawk Khurai claimed a 9-wicket win over Force Kshetrigao. 

Force made 63 runs for 10 wickets from 26.2 overs and in reply, Blue Hawk surpassed the target in 11.3 overs for 1 wicket. Blue Hawk player W. Samson got the Man of the Match award.
