KCC Kongba swung to their fifth win in the 3rd MNCA Superplate Tournament 2023-24 beating Napsa Kha Imphal at the Model Higher Secondary School & Oriental College Ground.
Napsa Kha Imphal made a slow start and managed to put up 109 runs for 10 wickets from 32.5 overs. After a sluggish opening, batsman N Bipin managed to top scored with 24 runs.
Kongba bowler N Arbin picked up 3 wickets for 11 runs from 3 overs while N. Somorjit took 2 wickets.
KCC batsmen delivered to the moment with M Rohen making 37 runs while skipper N Dijiraj got 34 runs, to reach the target in 26.4 overs for 4 wickets. KCC player N Arbin was adjudged the Man of the Match for his 3 wickets and 23 runs.
In another match, YWC Langthabal pulled off a 47-run win over RCA Lilong Tairen Makhong played at Luwangpokpa Cricket Ground, Luwangsangbam.
YWC made 167 runs for 10 wickets from 39.2 overs while in reply, RCA could score only 120 runs from 40 overs at the expense of 9 wickets.
YWC Langthabal bowler Prasantamani was the Man of the Match for his 4 wickets.
