SCCC Singjamei Thongam Leikai beat WYC Thoubal Wangkhem by 52 runs in the 6th MNCA W.Prahlada & W.Ramananda Elite Tournament 2021-22 played at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium, Imphal East.
SCCC batsman Lishan Meitei scored 20 runs to build their inning to 108 runs for 10 wickets from 33 overs. Jaali Ahmed Chisti got 15 runs. WYC bowlers Th Rohit bagged 4 wickets for 8 runs from 3 overs while Kh James got 2 wickets, Tomba, Mangi Sharma, and Biteshwor took 1 wicket each.
In reply, WYC batsmen failed to click as they were dismissed for 56 runs for 10 wickets from 20.3 overs. Th. Momocha was the lone batsman to reach double figures with 23 runs.
SCCC bowlers Abdul Kasim claimed 5 wickets for 15 runs from 7 overs while Sandeep Chakravorty took 2 wickets, Rakeshwor Republic, Basant and Lishan Meitei fetched 1 wicket each. Abdul Kasim was adjudged the Man of the Match for his match winning 5 wickets haul.
