Manipur Veterans Table Tennis Association (MVTTA) on Tuesday announced that the association will be organising the 20th State Level Veteran Table Tennis Championship 2022 from January 13 to 15 of 2023 at the Indoor Stadium of DM University Campus, Imphal.
MVTTA said in a statement that the events of the championship are singles and doubles for age group 40+, 50+, 60+, 65+ and 70+ for men’s; open event for singles and doubles for women’s; and open mix doubles.
The players should be 40 years of age or above on December 31 and the age of the applicant will be calculated on December 31 and placed accordingly to the suitable age category, it stated.
It informed the interested individuals to avail of the application form from the Indoor Stadium, DM University Campus or from the respective District Veteran Table Tennis Association or to contact the association at 9774430221.
The registration fee will be Rs 100 and the participation fee will be Rs 700, it mentioned. The last date of form submission will be on January 5 of 2023, it added.
