The Manipur Judo Association (MJA) has named 18 judokas to represent Manipur in the Sub-Junior National Judo Championship 2023 to be held at Kochi from December 15-18, 2023.
Based on their trial performance held on October 30, the Boys judokas are L Davidson, M Avijit, N Jayananda, Th Rohit, W Achouba, Lenin Yumlembam, Kh Johnson, M Dinesh, K Tondonba while in the Girls category are Laishram Marcy, Malemnganbi Devi, N Kajan, M Manipur Leima, Ak Chingkheinganbi, L Aeli, H Hemabati, Ch Jeeny and Kh Monika Devi.
The MJA also deputed Ng. Surchandra as Coach and M Sanathoi as Manager of Boys team while Ch Ibohal Singh and N Seema Devi in charge of the Girls team. The team will leave for Bengaluru and have a two-week practice stint at IIS JSW before embarking for Kochi.
