Manipur outshone Maharashtra by six-0 goals to claim their first three points in the Junior Girls' National Football Championship 2023-24 (Tier-1 Group Stage) at OFA, 7th Battalion Ground, Bhubaneshwar, Odisha.

Manipur took the early lead with forward Kh Bhumika Devi scoring in the 8th minute and later, N Arina Devi, in the 12th minute, and H Linthoi Devi, in the 23rd minute, struck a goal each to make 3-0 goals in the first half.
In the second half, Moibungkhongbam Sanjana Chanu added two more goals in 50th, 67th minutes while substitute N Lamnganbi Chanu fetched the sixth goal in the 90th minute for the victory.

For their second game, Manipur will meet Delhi on Saturday.
