TS Memorial Team (TSMT) Bungpi area sailed through to the pre-quarterfinal round of the ongoing KFA's Open Night Football Tournament after defeating Friends United 3-0 on Wednesday evening.

In the second match, SMT Haipi had a thumping 6-0 victory over Football FC to book a berth in the pre-quarterfinal round. Peter Seiminthang (22'), Khaigunlen (27'), Lungousem (38' 47'), Lunminthang (55'), and Limkhanthang (69') scored for the Haipi side.
