Cananphai Youth Club thumped Golngai Football Club 5-1 to sail through to the pre-quarterfinal round of the ongoing KFA's Open Night Football Tournament at D. Phaihel village in Kangpokpi District.

Seigouthang (7'), Satkhongam (14'), Lalgoumin (26'), Laljalen (48'), and Haokholet (80') scored for Cananphai Youth Club while Lunchinkai (39') pulled back a goal for Golngai Football Club.
In the second match, HMT had a narrow 1-0 win over Nanao Memorial Team to book a berth in the pre-quarterfinal round with Naoreng's goal in the 6th minute.
