Football FC and Jamsat Songtun Youth Club (JSYC) had a narrow win over their respective opponents while TYPOM Maohing thrashed Chalwa Youth Club in the ongoing KFA's Open Night Tournament on Tuesday evening.
After a draw in its first match, Football FC made a better comeback to open its winning account as it defeated FC Pangjang in a narrow 2-1 victory.
It was FC Pangjang who led the game after Paogougin found the opener in the 14th minute but Football FC quickly found the equalizer through Seineo in the 16th minute before Kaineo scored the winning goal for Football FC in the 25th minute.
In the second match, TYPOM Maohing maintained its unbeaten record by drubbing Chalwa Youth Club 4-1. Khaigoumang(34'), Lalminlen (35'), Kaikhokam (47') and Seivanglen (60') scored for the Maohing side while Mangminthang (44') pulled back a goal for the Chalwa side.
Similarly, Jamsat Songtun Youth Club (JSYC) also maintained its unbeaten record by defeating Gamnom Saparmeina Youth Club in a narrow 1-0 victory with Mangminlal's 34th minute goal.
