Kankhu Athletics Club overcame Anal Khunou YC by 5-2 goals in the opening match of the ADC Chandel Trophy First Division Football League 2022 played at Liwa Sarei Ground.

Pahring struck two goals while Mission, Malsom and Darthangthing fetched a goal each for Kankhu AC while for Anal Khunou YC, Berash and Ningson scored a goal each. Three Kankhu players Nohrin, Bengam, Mission and Anal Khunou player Mowarson got yellow cards in the match.

In the DC Chandel Trophy Second Division Football Tournament, 2022 which kicked off at Liwa Sarei Ground as well, saw Cheengkhu YC thrashed Unopat YC by 6-1 goals.

Chana proved to be the hero for Cheengkhu team as he scored four goals while Vipson and Suraj chip in with a goal each. The lone goal for Unopat was made by Royngam.

Cheengkhu players Damtha, Kingson and Unopat players Ningwarngam, Angingwar were booked with yellow cards in the match.
