Young Pioneers' English School, Imphal East came up with 6-0 goals win over Wabagai High School, Kakching in the U-17 Boys of the state inter school 51st JN Junior Boys Hockey Tournament 2023 played at Hockey Stadium, Khuman Lampak.

Kh Niraman led the attack for Imphal East banging home four field goals while Th Naresh Meitei got two goals for the win.

In the other match of the U-17 Boys, UNACO School, Imphal West Meitram beat Five Star English High School, Thoubal by 6-0 goals as well. M Borish got the opening goal for UNACO from a penalty corner and later O Lanthoiba came up with two field goals to dictate terms in the match.

S Borish, skipper S Sanson and M Benarjit picked up a goal each for the easy victory.

As for the U-17 Girls, Wabagai High School, Kakching thrashed Young Pioneers' English School, Imphal East by 24-0 goals.

In the U-15 Boys matches, RM School, Imphal West drubbed Thaimei Guiganpou English School, Bishnupur by 15-0 goals while Wabagai High School, Kakching overcame Five Star English High School, Thoubal by 3-2 goals.

YAS Director, T Phulen Meitei along with senior finance officer, YAS N Parithoihen Meitei opened the hockey meet.
