IKTTA, Anjika players shine in State Thang-Ta Championship 2023

IKTTA Moidangpok and Anjika Sangaiporou bagged four gold medals each on the third day of the 33rd State Sub-Junior, Junior & Senior Thang-Ta Championship 2023.

IKTTA Moidangpok and Anjika Sangaiporou bagged four gold medals each on the third day of the 33rd State Sub-Junior, Junior & Senior Thang-Ta Championship 2023 held Thang-Ta Shanglen, Yumnam Huidrom.

The girl players of IKTTA and Anjika performed well in the Phunaba Ani of Sub-Junior Girls category with Yaisana Naorem in 21 kg, Th Lembisana Devi in 49 kg, M Thajaleima Chanu in 53 kg and Th Gunabanta in Sub-Junior Boys 60 kg fetching the gold medals.

As for the Anjika team, S Riya in 37 kg, Olen Kh in 29 kg, Ch Jenifer in 45 kg in Sub-Junior Girls Phunaba Ani and S Nongyai in 52 kg in Sub-Junior Boys Phuna Anisubha.

Thang-Ta Maheikol Yumnam Huidrom, NGTTA Ngaikhong Khunou and IMMAA Heirok players also collected three gold medals while Universal Thang-Ta Academy, Wangoo got two gold medals of the day.

The Haokok Thang-Ta Academy, Ukhrul also came with their first gold from Christina KL beating L Anjela Devi of Mangang Luwang Khuman Thang-Ta, Sugnu while Lamngambi H of KTTCA Lairikyengbam Leikai fetched the bronze medal.

Luwang Thang-Ta, Sajor Leikai, KTTSS Maklang and KETTSS Kongpal also bagged a gold medal each today.
