IFC Lamphel lifted the champion title of the 28th L Sangita Devi Memorial First Division Football League 2022, organised by Imphal West District Football Association and played at SKYC Ground, Awang Sekmai.

IFC Lamphel finished the league with 14 points from 7 matches, winning four, draw 2 and lost 1 match for the top spot while KYC Khurkhul took the second slot with 13 points, winning 4, draw 1 and lost 2 matches and YUC Irom Meijrao bagged the third spot with 12 points from 3 win, 3 draw and 1 lost game.

SDC Samurou got the fourth spot with 12 points while BMSC Tabungkhok with 10 points, SCK Kodompokpi with 10 points, YAC Yaiskul with 4 points and YWC Langthabal on the bottom with 3 points.

In the last league match, IFC Lamphel team got hammered by SDC Samurou by 2-0 goals, the former still manages to retain the top spot. Srinivash L scored both the goals for SDC team. SDC player Dhanachandra and IFC player Lungsung Kharay received yellow cards in the match.

The second match proved fruitful for KYC Khurkhul as they overcame SCK Kodompokpi by 2-0 goals to grab the second spot in the league.

L Rishikanta and L Aboy scored a goal each for the KYC team.  KYC players Kh Boinao, Kh Robert and SCK players H Herojit got yellow cards in the match.
