ICSA Irengbam blanked Khuman FA by 3-0 goals in the ongoing U-17 Khelo India Girls Football League 2023-24 played at Artificial Turf, Lamlong Thongkhong.
Registering their second win from six matches, ICSA scored through Irom Priyadasini who scored two goals while I Thajamanbi fetched one goal. Khuman FA are yet to win any games from six matches.
In another match, Youth Welfare Club, Thambalkhong brought up their fifth win beating FC Imphal by a solitary goal. Ng Davina scored the winning goal in the 78th minute of the game. Both teams have played seven games with YWC losing two, while FC Imphal had won three, lost three and drawn one match.
TRAU beats Classic FA 2-1
TRAU Kwakeithel gained full points beating Classic Football Academy, Chingmeirong by 2-1 goals in the ongoing AIFF Junior League 2023-24 played at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium.
Classic FA brought up the challenge with substitute midfielder H Rohit fetching the opening goal in the 36th minute. But just before the first half whistle, TRAU midfielder L Nester equalised the score in the 45th+3 minute to hold 1-1 goals in the first half.
However the second half belonged to TRAU as they dominated the moves and finally it was midfielder Th Revaldo who scored the winning goal in the 83rd minute. TRAU player Nester and Classic FA player Jiten Poudel got yellow cards in the match.
