Hot Air Balloon team, representing India to the 25th FAI (Federation of Aeronautique Internationale) World Hot Air Championship being held from September 8 to 14 in Szged, Hungary, left Delhi on Tuesday.
Captain Ksh Imochaoba Singh is the competitor pilot and the team of crew are Y Bulee Singh, L Prameshor Singh and S Surjyapal Singh; A David, team manager, was also present during the event.
Prior to the championship, the team will participate in the Croatia Hot Air Balloon Championship in Prelog, Croatia from August 29 to September 2.
A see off event was organised by the Aero Club of India, Ministry of Civil Aviation in the presence of Arvind Badoni secretary general of the Aero Club of India at the Hotel Taj Mansingh, New Delhi on Monday.
