Heavy rain disrupts KFA's night tourney, matches postponed

The ongoing sixth edition of the Kuki Football Academy's Open Night Tournament compelled the organising committee to postpone the matches indefinitely till further notice.

Heavy rainfall since Friday disrupted the ongoing sixth edition of Kuki Football Academy's Open Night Tournament compelling the organizing committee to postpone the matches indefinitely till further notice.

The match postponement notice issued Saturday morning informed all the participating clubs/teams' managers about the postponement of the match owing to the heavy rainfall that heavily damaged the playground.

It also stated that all the participating clubs/teams will be intimates as and when the match can be resumed.

Earlier, on Friday evening matches, HLMT K.Gamnomphai had an easy 5-0 win over Sengol Football Club in the first match.

Nohminlen (19'), Lallungmon (29'), Hegou (40'), and Thangcha (43' 52') scored for K. Gamnomphai.

In the second match, United Young Boys edged past Monglham Golngai FC 1-0 with Lungoulal's goal in the 2nd minute.

The third match between Chavang Gollhang Ho and KDA Kangpokpi ended in a 1-1 draw. Chun (4') scored for Chavang Gollhang and Satlen (27') scored for KDA Kangpokpi.
