The Manipur government will telecast the FIFA World Cup Final Match live in every district of the state as per public interest. Chief Minister N Biren on his Facebook post invites football fans of the state to come and witness the match.
Argentina is set to lock horns with defending champion France on December 18 at 8.30 pm. The final match will be historic as it will see Messi and Mbappe clashing for the world title.
The CM, who is an Argentina fan, has organised a live telecast of the semi-final match between Argentina and Croatia at Bhagyachandra Open Air Theatre (BOAT), Imphal on Wednesday.
In his Instagram post with the football fans of Manipur on Wednesday, he captioned “Happy to spend some time with the euphoric football fans to witness the Semi-final match of FIFA World Cup 2022. The energy, emotion, and excitement of the game truly brings us together. For the love of the game”.
The FIFA World Cup final match will be shown live at BOAT for both Imphal East and West. In Kangpokpi, the match will be shown at the Conference Hall SH-ADC. In Tamenglong, at Apollo Ground. In Noney-Longmai, at Multipurpose Hall. In Senapati, at Senapati Public Ground, and In Bishnupur, at Kyamba Ningshing Sanglen.
For Thoubal, it will be shown at three different places, Wangjing Kodompokpi Lampak, Okram Lampak, Community Hall and Athokpam Awang Leikai Community Hall, Jiribam at DC Office Ground, Pherzawl at Pherzawl Community Hall, Churachandpur at Multipurpose Hall Mini Secretariat, Tuibong, Kamjong at Kamjong Town Hall, Chandel at DC Office Complex Lawn, for Ukhrul it will be shown in two places, District Forest Office Complex and Langdang Khullen Community Hall, Tengnoupal at Community Hall, Tengnoupal.
