ESU Wangkhei blanked AAMMA Andro by 7-0 goals in the opening match of the Tarunkumar Khuraijam Memorial Senior Women's Football League Tournament 2021-22 organised by IEDFA at YWC Ground, Thambalkhong.

It was a complete rout for the Andro team as ESU unleashed wrath halfway through the first half with Ch Anjali getting the opening goal in 29 minute. Later Y Kiranbala, M Mandakini, K Anju, N Priyangka, Chongmaya and Y Bidyanganbi scored a goal each for the victory.
The above-mentioned teams are the only two from the Imphal East District participating in the league which will be played on double leg basis to determine the winner.
