EMV FC held Sunday FC to a 1-1 goals draw to share a point each in the 3rd Master Dr Manaoton Singh & M Chandrashakhi Memorial Football Championship 2023 played at Artificial Turf, Lamlong Thongkhong.

Sunday FC were all flared up from the start with their most prized player Kh Hemo shaking the opponent's net with the opening goal in the 1st minute of play. Hemo’s dependability rose when he struck four goals in their opening match to play a crucial role in the tournament.

EMV FC took their time in the game but worked tirelessly toward the equaliser and were finally rewarded in the 50th minute through Somorendro to level the scoreline to 1-1 goals.

In the second match, TBSFA Tabungkhok thrashed Chingtam FC by 4-0 goals. The Chingtam veteran did not really have a chance in the game as they were regularly bombarded with attacks from the Tabungkhok outfit.

Chingtam FC player P Devananda got a yellow card in the second half.
