CK Nayudu Trophy: Mumbai scores over Manipur

Manipur bowler Alfred Hmar claimed 2 wickets while Jotin, Denin, Nitesh and Bikash bagged 1 wicket each.

Mumbai beat Manipur by an innings and 253 runs in the U-25 Men's Col CK Nayudu Trophy 2021-22 played at CAP Ground 3, Puducherry.

Mumbai batsman in their first innings piled up a massive score of 604 runs for six wickets from 150 overs. Musheer Khan hit a double ton of 267 runs while Subed Parkar remained not out with 162 runs and Armaan Jaffer contributed 88 runs.

Manipur bowler Alfred Hmar claimed 2 wickets while Jotin, Denin, Nitesh and Bikash bagged 1 wicket each.

In reply, Manipur in their first innings could muster up 145 runs for 10 wickets from 57.5 overs with Bikash making an unbeaten 44 runs. Mumbai bowler Khizar Dafedar bagged 3 wickets while AV Ankolekar, Himanshu picked up 2 wickets each among the top wicket takers.

Made to follow on, Manipur in the second innings managed 206 runs for 10 wickets from 73.1 overs.

Skipper Kishan got 48 runs while Jotin Ph scored 47 runs and Bidash made 40 runs. Khizar Dafedar was the most successful Mumbai bowler claiming 6 wickets for 61 runs from 25 overs while Minad P Manjrekar bagged 2 wickets
