Chandel Police FC recorded their second win beating PUSA FC by 4-0 goals in the DC Chandel Trophy Second Division League 2023 organised by DSA Chandel at Liwa Sarei Ground.
Placed in Pool A of the league, Chandel Police have won two matches so far and have never conceded any goal to sit tight with 6 points among the five teams. PUSA have lost both their games.
PUSA fell easy prey for the Chandel Police as the latter dominated the moves in both halves of the game with Mitchel scoring the opening goal in the 12th minute with Waikhabam consolidating in the 39th minute. Ignited with a more fiery approach, Lovejoy (71th minute) and Mitchel (74th minute) struck again for the comfortable victory.
In the other matches, Chakpikarong YC also picked up their second win beating Khoriibung FC by 2-0 goals. LH. Thangkhel scored in the 24th minute with Khoriibung player K.Wilson conceding an own goal in the 69th minute.
Monsang Pantha YCC also secured their second win from three matches beating Charangching Khunou YC by 3-2 goals.
Chandanpokpi CYFC defeated Penaching YDC by 2-1 goals played at Sports Complex, Chandel.
Riindamkhuw SC brought up their first win beating Soldong FC by 8-2 goals played at Liwa Sarei Ground.
Angkhel Chayang YCC got the better of Chandel Christian YC by 2-1 goals to collect full points.
