Four women judokas from the state representing India, bagged four medals, including a gold in the Cadet Asian Cup 2023 held at Shatin, Hong Kong. H Olivia claimed the gold medal in 44 kg while L Nungshthoi in 52 kg and Ch Linthoi in 63 kg fetched the Silver and Ng Deepapati in 70 kg took the bronze medals. The four were the only female cadets from India in the tournament.
