KYVO and SWC Khunpham shakes TYDA Toubul by 4-1 goals in the 1st L Itomcha Singh Memorial First Division Football League 2022-23 played at Mini Stadium, Bishnupur.

The Khunpham team started the onslaught early in the match with Roshan Singh picking up the opening goal from a close angle shot in the 11th minute of the game and later Didarson consolidated in the 19th minute to have a commanding say in the game.

However, just before the first half, Yameithoi Mahung made his moves to pump in the TYDA goal in the 36th minute to trail by 1-2 goals. Resuming the second half, the Khunpham team made further advancement as Julenjit in the 55th minute and L Bolen in the 77th minute came up with a goal each, to finish off the game in style for 3 points.

In the other match, KYSC and L, Kha Jiri beat KYVO Kwasiphai by 2-1 goals. Both teams missed their mark in the first half to render the second half an action packed game.

However KYSC and L had more control of the ball and soon got cracking when Dingku found the opening goal in the 47th minute. With temperature rising for a grip in the match, KYSC brought up their second goal from W Bicky in the 72nd minute.

Racing against time, KYVO made several desperate attempts until Santosh found the right shot in the 78th minute to bring a ray of hope to its bench. In the process of seeking the equaliser, KYVO player Micheal was sent off with a red card for dangerous play in the 80th minute and had to swallow the defeat. Two KYSC and L players Devadutta, Th Adison and KYVO player Punshiba, Th Dingku got yellow cards in the match.
