UFC Bishnupur held on LYLL Leimaram by 1-1 goals in the opening match of DSA Bishnupur 1st L Itomcha Singh Memorial First Division Football League 2022-23 which got underway at Mini Stadium, Bishnupur.

N Remson scored the opening goal for the LYLL team in the 52nd minute while Panmei Donny fetched the equaliser for the UFC team in the 55nd minute. Social worker A Babu Singh and DSA Bishnupur, president L Naba Singh inaugurated the league. 

Nine teams-UFC Bishnupur, KYSLC and L Kha Jiri, KYVO Kwasiphai, KLASA  Keinou, KYVO & SWC Khunpham, OSA Oinam, TYDA Toubul,  LYLL Leimaram and UKCCL Oinam are taking part in the league.
