AMFA selection trials for Santosh Trophy and Hero Senior Women's team

AMFA retained 33 players from the first phase coaching and added another 23 to attend the camp from the second phase.

The All Manipur Football Association has come up with 56 players for the second phase coaching cum trial in preparation of the state team for the National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy 2023-24.

The AMFA, in a press release, said they have retained 33 players from the first phase coaching and added another 23 to attend the camp from the second phase.

The newly added players are N. Robert, Ch. Roshan, T. Thoi, A. Ango, S. Sanathoi, Md. Rohit, S. Abhinash, S. Robert, Y. Rohit, K. Langamba, S. John, Kh. Jahir Khan, L. Bishal, Kh. Rohit, L. Suraj, Ajmir Miya, Samson, Immanual, Chinakho, Rakeviiche, L. Thoiba, Th. Lenin and Ihangam Horam.  All 56 players are to report on Wednesday (Aug 23) at 8:00 am at the Artificial Turf, Lamlong Thongkhong.

In the meantime, the AMFA has shortlisted 69 women players to attend trial in preparation of the state team for the 28th Hero Senior Women's National Football Championship 2023-24.

Among the 69 players from eight Clubs, nine are goalkeepers while 29 are defenders, 20 are midfielders and 11 are forwards. They are informed to report to Artificial Turf, Lamlong Thongkhong on September 2 at 8:00 am.
