The All Manipur Body Builders Association (AMBBA) has named 11 bodybuilders to attend the Indian trials at Kochi for Indian squad for the forthcoming 56th Asian Body Building & Physique Sports Championship 2024 at Indonesia & 15th WBPF World Body Building & Physique Sports Championship 2024 at Maldives.
The bodybuilders who will attend trial at Kochi, Kerala from May 11-12 are Th Yaisana Meitei, Kh Rishikanta Singh, Chongtham Bluncely in Junior 75kg below category, while RK Sanathoi Meetei in 70kg below and Y Luwangamba Meitei in Senior 70kg above.
Bodybuilders S Bhaktaraj will take part in Senior 75kg, K Arnold Singh in Senior 80kg, A Pibarel Meetei in Senior 85kg in Men's BodyBuilding. While, Longjam Boynao Singh in 80kg below of Master Body Building and Joyjeet Waikhom in Men's Athletic Physique.
Lone woman bodybuilder Engudam Kavita Chanu will participate in 55kg above Women's Body Building.
Mention may be made that the 56th Asian Body Building & Physique Sports Championship 2024 at Batam, Indonesia will be held from August 6 till 12, while the 15th WBPF World Body Building & Physique Sports Championship 2024 at Maldives is scheduled to be held from November 5 to 11.
